Description
Hello, I’m Jake Knell, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate. I am committed to creating a safe, compassionate space where mutual respect, humor, and collaboration are central. I work with individuals aged 14 and up, believing that each person’s life is a unique journey, shaped by a myriad of experiences and stories. I approach therapy with an existential perspective, focusing on understanding what it means to be human as we navigate the deep complexities of ourselves, the world, and those around us. Therapy, to me, is a shared path where you are the expert on your own life, and I serve as a guide to help you navigate and make meaning of your journey.
At the heart of my approach is the belief that growth and healing arise from empowering personal agency. As we walk this path together, you will uncover the resilience, hope, and strengths that lie within. More than just healing, this adventure is the discovery of your authentic self, waiting to be fully expressed.
I consider it an honor to walk alongside my clients as they embark on this journey of self-discovery and personal growth. My commitment is to create a therapeutic space where you can thrive, ultimately living a more fulfilling life rooted in your understanding of your story and the unique gifts you have to offer yourself and others.
