Description
I take a collaborative, supportive approach to helping you identify problems, explore your experiences and thinking patterns, and work toward your goals for therapy. Life can be really, really hard, but I believe we all have the capacity to grow and learn as we work through life’s challenges. I hope to partner with you to figure out the changes you want to make, to heal your hurts, to find hope, and to grow in ways that will increase your happiness and fulfillment.
My hope is to create a warm, understanding, judgment free space where you feel safe to explore the struggles life throws your way. Together we will explore what brought you to seek counseling, and how you’d like to move forward. It takes time to open up, build trust, and make changes, but together we will get there!
With children and teens, I create an environment that’s casual and comfortable, safe, accepting, and hopefully even fun! I strive to build a connection with your child to help them better understand themselves and the world around them. Sometimes we might just talk, other times we might play a game, listen to music, or create art. I focus on your child’s unique interests and problems. I work to understand your child/teen as a unique individual. Together we will identify strengths, build resilience, and learn coping strategies.
