Bringing awareness to the unconscious
Developed by psychiatrist Carl Jung, Jungian psychotherapy gives a voice to your unconscious, unprocessed emotions. The goal is to bring these elements of your unconscious to light so that clients can work through their experiences with full awareness of what is causing them harm.
Therapists trained in Jungian psychotherapy help clients uncover their most authentic selves through a deeper analytical approach to emotional and behavioral healing. By incorporating symbolism, and an archetypal framework, therapists facilitate a process by which clients are able to see their concerning issues in a multidimensional manner whereby productive and unproductive patterns are more visible.
Much of the work done in behavioral health sessions has to do with seeing one's life through a different lense or from a different perspective. Jungian psychotherapy is engaging, creative, and can be very effective in facilitating healing for a variety of issues.
